Our History

How It All Started...

The photo to the right depicts the original  church building from approximately 1902, located by the Stillwater Cemetery.  This structure was dismantled in 1909 and moved to its new location at 42 Wesley Street, Stillwater.  The boards from this building were used in the construction of the new building. They were transported down the hill on a horse-drawn wagon to the location of the current building. The existing building is now a home for a local family from Danville, PA since 2015.

Expanding the Vision...

This photo was taken approximately in 1919. The boards from the original building (above) were used to build the sanctuary of this building. Note the thin Sugar Maple tree to the right. These trees were planted to dedicate new church buildings.

Where We Are Headed...

Our current church building was completed in 2015. Additions including a steeple and carport were added since then. As we look toward the future, may God continue to bless us!
